ATTENTION TOWN OF NEW LONDON VOTERS
The Supervisors of the Checklist will hold a public session on Tuesday, January 20, 2025 between 7:00 and 7:30 pm at the New London Town Offices, 375 Main Street to accept voter registration applications, or to make any changes to your current registration. This session takes place prior to the filing period for candidates running for town office. Reports of transfer, death, name changes, removal of names or party changes may be made at this time.
As residents of New London or Elkins and wishing to register, you will need to provide two forms of ID to satisfy proof of identity, age, citizenship and domicile in New London or Elkins. You must have a picture IDwith your physical address or another one listing your physical address, i.e. a mortgage, utility bill, etc.
To prove citizenship, you will need a U.S birth certificate, U.S. passport or your U.S. naturalization papers.
NOTE: A NH REAL ID complaint driver’s license is NOT proof of US Citizenship in NH.
If your name has legally changed through Marriage, Divorce, Adoption, or a court-appointed name change, you must present proof of your legal name change to show both your prior name as it appears on your proof of citizenship document and your current legal name as it appears on the Voter Registration Application.

Declarations of Candidacy may be obtained from the webpage, the Town Clerk’s office at 375 Main St, calling 526-1244 or by emailing w.kidder@NewLondon.NH.gov starting January 21st. Our office will be open until 5pm on the last day of filing. Any candidate filing on the last day must file in person.
