Elkins Beach - 349 Elkins Rd, New London
Summer 2025 Lifeguard and Attendant Hours:
7 days a week, 10:00am - 5:00pm
(WEATHER PERMITTING & SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE)
Beaches are open for swimming Memorial Day weekend.
Lifeguard staff start weekends in June and full-time on the last day of school for the Kearsarge Regional School District Wednesday, June 18th.
Beach Attendants start Saturday, June 28th
No Beach Staff on duty after Labor Day
Beach Rules
Beach Use is for New London residents, taxpayers and their guests.
Swim in designated areas only.
Children aged 11 years or younger shall be supervised at all times by an adult, a sibling, or a guardian aged 16 or older.
No alcohol allowed on town property.
No fires or cooking grills (except those provided).
No Pets allowed. With the exception of service animals or service animals in training.
No Personal Watercraft launching allowed - Please use public launches.
Beaches are closed from 9 PM to 7 AM.
