ATTENTION TOWN OF NEW LONDON VOTERS

The Supervisors of the Checklist will hold a public session on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 between 7:00 and 7:30 pm at the New London Town Offices, 375 Main Street to accept voter registration applications as well as to make additions and corrections to the Checklist.

The Supervisors have begun the process of the Annual Verification of the Checklist. The verification process effects any voter who did not vote in any election in the past five (5) years. These voters have been notified via letter that they will be removed from the voter checklist per RSA 654:39. The voters can re-register at the session on June 2, 2026, or with the Town Clerk during regular office hours or at the State Primary Election on September 8, 2026.

The June 2, 2026 session is the last day a registered voter may change their party affiliation before the State Primary Election on September 8, 2026.

As residents of New London or Elkins and wishing to register, you will need to provide two forms of ID to satisfy proof of identity, age, citizenship and domicile. You must have a picture ID with your physical address or another one listing your physical address, i.e. a mortgage, utility bill, etc.

To prove citizenship, you will need a U.S birth certificate, U.S. passport or your U.S. naturalization papers.

NOTE: A NH REAL ID complaint driver’s license is NOT proof of US Citizenship in NH.

If your name has legally changed, for example through Marriage, Divorce, Adoption, or a court-appointed name change, you must present proof of your legal name change to show both your prior name as it appears on your proof of citizenship document and your current legal name as it appears on the Voter Registration Application.
