The Supervisors of the Checklist will hold a public session on Monday, October 28, 2024 between 7:00 and 7:30 pm at the New London Town Offices, 375 Main Street to accept voter registration applications or to make any corrections. This will be the last session you can register to vote until the General Presidential Election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 7am to 7pm at Whipple Town Hall, 25 Seamans Rd. You can register to vote at the election following the directions below. As residents of New London / Elkins and wishing to register, you will need to provide two forms of ID to satisfy proof of identity, age, citizenship and domicile. You must have a picture ID with your physical address or another one listing your physical address, i.e. a mortgage, utility bill, etc. To prove citizenship, you will need a U.S birth certificate, U.S. passport or your U.S. naturalization papers. Town Clerk’s Office: We are open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Please note, that there is a cut-off period prior to each election when the Town Clerk’s Office is unable to process voter registrations. Supervisor of the Checklist Sessions: Supervisor Sessions are usually held in the Town Office at 375 Main Street, New London. Once a Supervisor Session has been scheduled, the information will be posted on our website.
Same-day Voter Registration: The State of New Hampshire allows residents to register to vote at their polling location on Election Day. Voters who register on election day are also permitted to vote that day as well. To determine your polling location, you can: contact our office, visit the NH Voter Information Look-Up website.
